Watched The Departed last weekend. Another gangster flick by the legendary Martin Scorsese (will somebody give him an Oscar already?). The film is actually a remake of the 2002 Hong Kong hit Infernal Affairs, co-directed by Mak Siu Fai and Lau Wai Keung.
Storyline is brilliant (too bad someone else did it first, Marty), nicely [...]
Watched two movies yesterday. The first – Murderball, was Colin’s choice, and the second – Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, we both wanted to watch. Turned out to be a bit of a surprise as I actually enjoyed Murderball more than I did Pirates.

Apart from the numbnut next to me who was providing his girlfriend with a running commentary, I rather enjoyed X-Men: The Last Stand (a.k.a. X-Men 3 here in Singapore). Comic book fans might call it sacrilege, but it was entertaining. We even get to see Wolverine and Colossus do the Fastball Special.
